At Horizon-Automation, we implement logistics software and warehouse operations control systems to create a stable, transparent, and scalable environment. Our goal is to provide real control over the flow of goods and data, and not just to provide an IT tool.
The first area of our work is the development and configuration of SRC (Store & Retrieval Control) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) systems.. These systems are responsible for real-time device control, load unit movement control, priority management and coordination of transport lines and machines. We create solutions tailored to the architecture of the warehouse and its specific operations. As a result, logistics software adds value where it is most noticeable: in the fluidity and predictability of processes.
The second key element is SQL database administration. These databases store information on the flow of goods, stock levels, orders, equipment history, and error logs. We ensure the correct data structure, query performance, index optimization and access security. A transparent database is the basis for both system stability and for subsequent operational analyses.
At the same time, we administer the Ethernet network, , which is the backbone of communication in the warehouse. We are responsible for switch configuration, network segmentation, connection redundancy, and transmission security. Efficient communication between systems is a prerequisite for automation to remain reliable. That is why we always design the network to operate stably even under increased process loads.
Our approach is based primarily on responsibility for the result. Logistics software becomes a real advantage only when it is integrated into the process, tested under real load and handed over to the team in a way that enables informed operation. That is why, as part of the implementation, we also conduct functional, scenario and load tests and, if necessary, we adjust the configurations to actual operational needs.
