PLC programming is a key element of effective automation of production and warehouse processes. At Horizon-Automation, we carry out a full range of work related to the creation, parametrization, and maintenance of control software so that the systems not only work according to the design assumptions, but also effectively in real working conditions. Our goal is stability, repeatability, and reliability - from the first start-up to daily operation.
We start with the development, parametrization, and preparation of software for PLC controllers.. We analyze the process structure, the role of devices in the technological chain, and functional requirements. The resulting PLC software is designed to be readable, scalable and easy to modify later. This provides the customer with a solution that can be flexibly adapted to new needs as the company grows.
Next, we implement the PLC software in the production environment. This is the stage where theory becomes practice. We integrate the control logic with the actual devices, verify the correctness of communication, and configure the safety interfaces. At this point, precision is key — small logical errors can affect the rhythm of the entire line. We make sure that the system responds predictably, stably and in accordance with the operating conditions of the facility.
Another major area of our work is the integration of master systems with PLC, including WCS (Warehouse Control System), WMS (Warehouse Management System) or SCADA. We connect the operational layer with the management layer, making process data useful for planning, analysis and optimization. It is efficient communication between systems that determines whether automation works for people, and not the other way around.
As part of system maintenance and development, we optimize the implemented softwareWe analyze process flows, cycle times and equipment performance, and look for opportunities to improve the smooth flow of materials or goods. Our role is not only to create a working system, but also to help the customer gain a real operational advantage.
We also test production lines for functionality and performanceto confirm the stability of the process under real working conditions. At the same time, we prepare visualizations on HMI panels, providing a clear and intuitive overview of the process, error diagnostics and tools for operation and maintenance.
We also offer servicing and modernization of existing installations. We support our customers in the development of systems, adapting them to new products, processes or production capacities.
